Happy Mother's Day

Hope all you moms out there had a great day! We have successfully sent the two little stink bugs to bed and Andy is cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Mmmmm....smells like steak...garlic...shrimp? Wow, he went all out! I'm not allowed in the kitchen when Andy cooks, so I don't know for sure. Oh, the anticipation! :)

Nate is loving baseball! We're wishing we'd put him in Little League instead of Tee Ball, but oh well. He seems to be born to play first base and is on cloud nine when he's chasing that little white ball around. He does great and plays as hard as he can, 100% of the time. That's just how Nate is...100%, all the time. What an awesome kid!

Lizzie is excited for summer. At last, she can play outside! She continues to grow at an almost-alarming rate. She's in 4-T clothes now. She is taller and heavier than Nate was at her age. Both of our kids will outgrow us by the time their 12. *sigh* ;)

Well, whether you're a birthmother, expecting mother, or stand-in mother, have a wonderful day!

  1. That is great that Nate is doing so well in Baseball. You will have to post some video of his skills. Happy Mother's Day to you too.
