It has been quite a year. We've been up to the usual things, in addition to moving twice and running our own business. It's like this year has been out to prove that life really doesn't turn out how you plan. Nevertheless, the kids are growing tall and healthy. We live in a comfy, wonderful home far away from ... well ... anything. Peace and quiet are what I asked for, and that's what I got. Thank goodness!
It is snowing and foggy here in Idaho. Next week is Christmas, and though I miss my mom to the point of despairing, I try to make Christmas as magical for my kids as she did for us. The house is decorated, the Christmas songs are playing, the tree is up! I think she would be proud of me.
