Can't think of one...

Ah, yes! A 1 a.m. posting today! I just got back from work, and I'm not quite ready for bed. Hard to wind down sometimes.

Thanks to you who have read and commented. I did, indeed give into the pressure to blog! But, I figured it would be a good way for loved ones to see pics of my cuties and also have a site that we could post along with our adoption sites. We gave this address to Ammon's parents, and I hope they visit soon! Ammon, by the way, is Nate & Lizzie's older brother in UT. I hope he has fun checking in with this little brother and sister via the internet. Special HI to Ammon, if he's reading.

We had a pretty typical day today. Not much out of the ordinary.

Worked with my least-favorite coworker tonight. Ugh! She doesn't like me, and I in turn don't like her. And the only reason I don't like her is because she doesn't like me. She loves pointing out my mistakes to me. She's the only one who does it, unless it's something important, then the lead Copy Editor talks to me (she, incidently is very laid back about my mistakes cuz she knows I'm learning very quickly). Mouse Girl, as I have dubbed her, points out stupid, fixable things--like stuff on the web site. It takes five minutes to fix something on the web site, but she still has to tell me I did something wrong. I have developed a strong dislike for people who hope other people fail.

Okay, whine session over.

I was thinking today how blessed I am to have Andy for a husband. Somehow, we muddle through our crazy life together. I can't believe it will be nine years in June. NINE YEARS! Wow, where did all that time go? (Hm...maybe to my hips...).

We are celebrating Nate's placement day in a few weeks. Feb. 13 will make five years. Wow. So, say a special prayer on the 13th and say thanks for his birthmom, who had a courage to place him for adoption! She, after all, has made the most joyous moments in our lives possible.

Today, I'm still listening to The Plain White Ts, who have an amazing sound that Lizzie and I adore. Here's the link.

  1. I figured out who the plain white t's were after I posted my last comment. I saw them on the today show with Dilila, the girl the song was writen about/for, or at least who's name they used. Now I feel silly for the question.
Congrats on Nate's placement date and your marriage of nine years. Funny how life marches on.
