It is what it is
One of my favorite quotes goes as follows: "It is what it is." In other words, I can't do anything about it, so I just have to let it be. It's what I tell myself when I'm trying to remind myself that my life isn't a series of practical jokes played by God. Life is just life. It is what it is--good, bad, disappointing, joyful.
