The day dawn is breaking, the world is awaking

Or...not. It's the middle of the afternoon and both of the kids are asleep. I've just had that hymn running through my head all day. ;)

We've had a busy day. Andy & Nate woke as...well...as the day dawn was breaking and Andy added to the back fence. Hooray! We officially cannot see the Taco John's drive through! Then, after I stumbled downstairs at 9 a.m. and Lizzie graced us with a smile around 9:30, we went and picked up more brick. Yes. More brick. The man was so sweet and very helpful. At one point, I looked up and Lizzie was waving at the house. The man's wife was standing in the window just laughing and waving back! Lizzie would wave and then laugh, then the lady would wave and laugh, then Lizzie would wave...well, you get the picture. It was so, so cute! Lizzie finally laughed so hard she fell on the ground. Nate was a trooper, helping us with the brick. They both left with a rice crispy treat.

Finally, we came home and collapsed. Andy had just enough time to unload the brick and mutter, "I need a nap," before the Elders' quorum president called needing help moving a family. Andy has not been seen since. Poor Andy! He better get home quick, 'cause I need to head to work in a few!

  1. Did you see our pictures from Lizzie's birthday on our blog? They are late getting on there, but they are there now.
