I know, I know! I promised to post again yesterday! Bad Mary, bad!
The sun is creeping up over the mountains. I'm sure my sister Liz would have something very beautiful and poetic to write about that.......yeah, I've got nothin'. I do love that the days are getting longer. It gives me hope that winter really will end eventually. Cuz, some days in Montana, you just never know! :)
Our friends Joey and Vanessa (Taro's parents) are becoming licensed for foster care. We love and admire them greatly for this decision! We have thought about becoming foster parents, but the timing has never seemed right. Perhaps it still lies in our future. Point is, I guess, that everyone can do something for the kids around us. Joey and Vanessa aren't the most organized people, and (just like the rest of us), they have those days where life just overwhelms them, but they're still thinking of others, trying to find ways to help. They heard the foster care system was overloaded and decided they could help with that. Bravo! And to all you family and friends who work everyday to make life better for others, we applaud you!
Wuhoo! It's Friday! That means the whole family is home tomorrow! Yippee! I do love being surrounded by my family!
